Retirement Planning

Retirement accounts. It’s one of those things that most Americans have, but the majority don’t understand anything about.

Would you like to hear a fun fact? When I ask new clients how they chose the investments in their current 401(k), most of them tell me that they asked a coworker or their boss because they are “good at stocks “. If that’s been your retirement “plan” so far, perhaps it’s time for us to talk.

Speaking of 401(k) plans, if you recently (or maybe not so recently) left your job and your old 401(k) plan behind, it would probably make sense for us to chat and discuss what your options are for that account. Which option is right for you?

Will you outlive your retirement savings?

The most common concern that my retired and pre-retiree clients have is “Will I run out of money in retirement?” The answer to that question:  it depends. Are you contributing enough to your retirement account?  If you have an employer matched 401(k) plan, are you maximizing it?  Who is watching your old 401(k) account? Do you have a tax diversified retirement strategy? What kind of reliable income will you have in retirement?  Is your portfolio properly diversified to meet your goals, objectives, and risk tolerance?  In the event of a significant stock market downturn, will you have to work longer or retire with less? I understand your concerns, and I am here to help.  Let’s connect and come up with a plan. Together.

A Goal without a Plan is just an Idea

Remember, everyone’s vision for retirement is different. This is your retirement plan. I will help to make the retirement that you envision a reality.

It's your retirement plan.  Yours.

Now’s your time to think through the world of possibilities, because the sooner you start planning — and saving — the better able you are to reach your retirement money and savings goal.
